How did it all start?

Ok, so how did I get into this whole prop-collecting business? It's not the most common of hobbies and absolutely not the cheapest, is it...? Well, let's take a look at how it happened

So, last entry was about the gems from Smaugs hoard. A mounting that turned out different than I had initially thought it would. Today will be about the Saw II syringe.

As I said yesterday, today is mounting day. What has surprised me a bit is that I actually enjoy this about as much as finding and getting the props. It is something with the whole creative and productive process that appeals to me. also, I feel that by doing this I make the prop more personal and mine.

So, it's been a few days since last. Nothing much has happened, and I didn't have enough to say to warrant a post I felt. But now I'm back. I have received a couple of new props and seen a couple as well.

So, about a month ago I started my new hobby. I started collecting movie props :)

 This, for the uninitiated, is when you go out and buy items used in movies and TV-series. It can be anything and everything from great Hero props like Light-sabers and Indiana Jones' whip to small background set-dressing like newspapers, pens or anything else used to make the set look like the director wants.
